A third-generation oil and gas professional and being raised in South Louisiana and West Texas, Charles was born to work in the oil and gas industry.  After completing his degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University and A&M College in 1999, Charles began his career as a landman, having since matured into a successful and respected leader in the energy sector.  Before founding Hillco Resources, LLC, he was a partner at Penterra Services, LLC.

Charles’ accounting background has given him a unique perspective on the energy sector, making him  meticulous and highly effective in completion of projects.  His accessibility has enabled him to build long-lasting relationships with both clients and landowners.

A member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, Lafayette Association of Petroleum Landmen and Permian Basin Landman Association, Charles prides himself on his diverse and rewarding interpersonal relationships within the industry, and places a premium on continuing education in this ever-evolving field.  

He and his wife Megan are proud parents of two children, Charlie IV and Rose.
